There was a discussion some time ago about slips for leather furniture. The feeling was that they would be difficult because customers generally prefer you not pin into the leather.

Well... how about using small (and I mean really, really small) pony clamps to temporarily hold fabric together so you can pin the seam? That way, you can avoid pinning into the leather.

Can anyone picture what I'm talking about?

what is a pony clamp?

Is it something that is worn in the hair?

They come in various sizes, some very small (which is what I had in mind). They are readily available at Home Depot, etc.

as long as it doesn't harm the leather, you are okay.

I think the issue for me would be that the customer understand, accept and fully anticipate the cover will slip around more.
